How to make it

  • Heat grill to medium heat
  • Toss apples with lemon juice
  • Thread fruit onto 12 metal or water soaked wooden skewers
  • Put onto grill and after 3-4 minutes, turn over and cook until tender
  • Sauce
  • In saucepan, add sugars and cornstarch and stir until combined
  • Slowly add cream and stir until smooth
  • Bring to boil, stirring constantly and cook for a minute or so or until slightly thickened
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter until smooth
  • Stir in pecans
  • Serve warm
