Grilled Apples With Butter Pecan Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

10 granny smith apples, cut into 1 inch chunks

Juice of 1 lemon

Butter Pecan Sauce

1/3 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tbls. sugar

4 tsp. cornstarch

3/4 cup whipping cream

1 tbls. butter

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Heat grill to medium heat

Toss apples with lemon juice

Thread fruit onto 12 metal or water soaked wooden skewers

Put onto grill and after 3-4 minutes, turn over and cook until tender

Sauce

In saucepan, add sugars and cornstarch and stir until combined

Slowly add cream and stir until smooth

Bring to boil, stirring constantly and cook for a minute or so or until slightly thickened

Remove from heat and stir in butter until smooth

Stir in pecans

Serve warm
