Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine cream cheese, Worcestershire, paprika, parsley, onion, garlic, pepper, lemon juice and liquid smoke until well blended. Set aside.
  • Fry bacon until just crisp. Drain and set aside.
  • Fry eggs in bacon grease until yolks are just set.
  • Lightly toast bread and spread one side of each slice with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Place egg on bottom slice of bread and arrange the rest of the ingredients, ending with tomato.
  • This works great for lunch or a breakfast sandwich!

Keni and Malty~ OMG, this sandwich was killer good! I am just starting to get into using avocados and have only made guacamole w/ them. I wanted to try something different, so I gave this a whirl...excellent! The flavor combination was right on, and the cream cheese mixture put it over the top! I omitted the liquid smoke just because I was being lazy and didn't feel like trying to find it, lol ;) Also, I made this on sliced italian bread that I toasted. I only made 1 sandwich for myself, but ended up having to back and make another one, not for me...for Gabe! He LOVED it! Thank you BOTH for a wonderful new sammich! :)

Tried this a couple weeks ago and it was fantastic! Loved the cream cheese mixture. We did not add the liquid smoke b/c we don't really like it. The only other change we made was to use a croisant intead of the bread. We also "grilled" the croissant in a little butter. We made them again this weekend at Matts request. This time we mashed the avacado b/c it was so ripe and spread half the croisant with cream cheese and the other with the mashed avacado. The firt time we made them we took a picture but we can't locate the cord for that camera. When we find it I'll post a pic. Thanks for the recipe. We really like these!

My favorite sammich yet... even though apparently it's been done before, with the BEAT part, anyway, I was pretty proud of myself when I made it, and you're right... the cream cheese mix is the key. :) I'm always happy when I can contribute something to what YOU cook, instead of the other way around. ;)
