Guinness Beer Stew Recipe
I would seem like a copy cat if I just posted a bottle of Guinness to represent my recent trip to Dublin now wouldn't I.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb beef, cubed
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 Stalk Celery, diced
  • 1 leek, diced
  • 4 large carrots, diced
  • 2 tbsp. gravy sauce
  • Pinch Mixed herbs - sage, rosemary, thyme,,,,
  • ¼ LB butter
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 2 cans Beef stock
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • ½ x Pint GUINNESS® beer

Directions
  1. Melf butter in a stock pot, add vegetables and stir till slightly softened ( about 5-6 min) Add Beef and cook for another 5-6 min till browned. Add your favorite herbs and flour, stir. Add beef stock slowly and cook for another 5-6 min. Add gravy sauce and 1/2 pint of Guinness, cover and simmer till for 1 1/2 hours. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
