Kisir-bulgur salads

- 1-cup fine grain, quality brand bulgur (cracked wheat), 1 cup of hot water shopping list
- •1 medium size yellow onion, 1/2 bunch Italian parsley, , 1 tea spoon salt. shopping list
- •1 table spoon Turkish tomato paste, , 1-table spoon lemon juice, 4 table spoon olive oil shopping list
- •2 medium size tomatoes, 2 cucumbers, 1/2 bunch green onions shopping list
- •1 medium curley lettuce shopping list
- • 2 tabel spoon pomegranate syrup shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Place one cup bulgur into a deep dish and pour boiled water over it. Cover and let it sit to cool.
- 2.While bulgur is soaking and cooling, prepare other ingredients: dice onions, cucumbers, , parsley, curley and tomatoes.
- 3.Uncover the bulgur and stir it with wooden spoon to separate grains.
- 4.in a small pot add to 4 tabel spoon olive oil add to tomato paste and cook well after that stir with bulgur ,salt, and diced yellow onions. Mix well.
- 5.Then add diced tomatoes, green onions, parsley,cucumbers ,curley , mint & pepper. Mix well.
- 6.Lastly add lemon juice, pomegranate paste and more olive oil, mix and serve with lettuce.
