Ingredients

How to make it

  • Over medium heat, combine butter, dates, and sugar.
  • Stir continuiously!
  • Cook 5 minutes until well blended.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in Rice Krispies - mixture will be THICK!
  • Shape into small balls - (Keep in mind, they are VERY sweet and rich!!)
  • Roll in powder sugar and place on a sheet of wax paper.
  • Cool completely before storing in air-tight container IF you any left!

    We make something just like this at Christmas time but we call them Skillet Cookies and we don't use the powdered sugar. Very yummy and rich!
