Chuckwagon Baked Beans

- • ½ lb bacon, cooked & chopped shopping list
- • 1.5 lb. ground beef, cooked, drained shopping list
- • 3 med. onions, diced & cooked w/the beef shopping list
- • 112 oz canned baked beans (4 – 28 oz. cans) - you can mix diff beans if you desire! shopping list
- • 1 c brown sugar shopping list
- • 2 tsp. liquid smoke shopping list
- • 1 med. green pepper, diced shopping list
- • 1 ½ c ketchup shopping list
- • 1 c molasses shopping list
- • Couple dashes of hot sauce shopping list
How to make it
- CROCKPOT METHOD: Brown beef. Throw all ingredients in the crockpot. Cook according to temperature guidance listed above recipe ingredients.
- OVEN METHOD: Combine all ingredients into a 13 x 9 pan. Bake Uncovered approx. 1.5 hours till heated through and bean ‘consistency’ is as you like it.
- COOK TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS: Crockpot - cook 3-4 hrs on HIGH or 7-9 hrs on LOW. For a regular oven, cook at 350 degrees approx. 1.5 hrs till heated through and the beans are the 'consistency' that you desire.
