Fryed Cabbage

- 1 head mountain cabbage shopping list
- 6 slices Fat back shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp black pepper shopping list
- crushed red pepper shopping list
- sugar shopping list
- water shopping list
How to make it
- Slice cabbage in long thin strips( remove cobb).Fry fatback mid-high heat in large skillet until golden brown. Remove fatback.Add cabbage let it pile up . Salt & pepper to taste.Use same amount sugar as the salt.Sprinkle 1/4to1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper on top.Use red pepper +/- for the heat factor you like.Add about 1 tbls. water cover simmer untill cooked down or slightly colored. Stir frequently but keep covered. Serve
