How to make it

  • Combine meal, sugar and salt in large mixing bowl. Add boiling water; mix well. Thin immediately with milk so mixture will drop easily from spoon. Additional milk may be needed.
  • Drop by tablespoons onto hot greased griddle (you may use corn oil or bacon drippings). Do not let griddle get dry; add more oil as needed.
  • Cook 5 to 6 minutes on each side, to desired brown. Enjoy!
