Ingredients

How to make it

  • Bring water, sugar and coffee to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Simmer VERY slowly for 3 hours.
  • Mixture will be very dark and syrupy.
  • Cool.
  • Add vanilla and vodka.
  • Makes 7 cups.

    There are a lot of Kahlua recipes. I have made one that called for a vanilla bean. This one is very intersting and I may give it a try for the holidays.
