How to make it

  • Place turkey in 6 qt. slow cooker. Place rosemary and garlic around turkey. Combine the brown sugar,pepper,salt,sprinkle over turkey. Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours or till turkey is tender.

    I love cooking meats with brown sugar and wanted to try this. But, when I saw how huge a turkey breast is, I opted for three chicken breast halves. The brown sugar seemed to disappear! Not sure where it went. I was hoping it would kind of glaze the meat. The flavor of rosemary got into the meat and I really loved that! I overcooked the breasts though as I got sidetracked so they were a little dry but that's not the recipe's fault. Didn't add my picture to the recipe because it was chicken. But, I posted it here:

    is this a skinless turkey breast? Do you add any liquid in the crockpot?
