Daves Favorite Almost Homemade Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

vegetable oil

eggs

water

almond extract

chopped pecans

1 pk. toffee chips

8oz.cream cheese softened [Frosting}

1 stick unsalted butter softened

1 tsp.pure vanilla extract

about 4 cups of confectioner.s sugar

4 ounces chopped pecans

Directions

follow the directions on the box of the cake mix

add 1&1/2 tsps. almond extract

blend together

mix in 1 package of toffee chips

mix in 8oz. chopped pecans (by hand gently)

Bake according to cake mix instructions on the box

Cool completely

FROSTING:

Cream the butter and cream cheese together well

Add in the vanilla extract

Slowly add the confectioner's sugar till creamy but not too loose

Completely ice the cooled cake

Top with chopped pecans

NOTE:Because of the perishable items in icing,REFRIGERATE
