Cream Cheese Jalapeno Hamburgers Recipe

These are great tasting burgers. Instead of jalapenos,you can add anythingor just do cream cheese. Allrecipes

- 2 c seeded and chopped jalapen pepper
- 1 (8oz) cream cheese,softened
- 2 lbs ground beef or turkey or chicken
- 8 hamburger buns,split
Directions
- Preheat grill for medium heat. When hot ,lightly oil grate. In med. bowl,stir together the jalapenos and cream cheese.
- Divide ground beef into 16 portions and pat each one to 1/4" thickness. Spoon some of cream cheese mixture into center of 8 of the patties. Top with remaining patties,pressing the edges together to seal. (I have mixed cream cheese and jalapenos right in to patties also).
- Grill for about 10 mins per side,or till well done,taking care not to press down on the burgers as they cook/ This will make the cheese ooze out. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
- I have also just grilled burgers and use cheese and peppers mixture as topping!

Made them and they were wonderful. Fred doesn't like cream cheese or peppers, so I stuffed his burger with shredded cheddar and it just oozed completely out. The cream cheese held up better and the jalapeno (I used pickled jalapenos) were just right. Topped the burgers (salsa for Fred) and Guacamole for me. They were terriric. Only other addition was to sprinkle with grill seasoning on both sides before cooking. Very good burger.
