Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a bowl , mix all ingredients together ( except oil for frying , of course )
  • thouroughly yet gently with a spoon until you get an almost non sticky brothy dough .
  • Do not knead , only stir !!
  • Preheat oil in your pan at a medium-high temp ( 7 out of 10 ) .
  • Dip your spoon in a glass of water that you have placed near you , and scoop some dough .
  • Gently let it down in oil and QUICKLY continue until pan is almost ful
  • By the time you have filled your pan , you should be turning the first one over to the other side . Anyway , fry until golden brown on both sides .
  • Place the fritters on oil-absorbing paper .
  • Serve hot and enjoy .

    Thank you so much HH. This is the recipe I asked about, as I wanted an original. (I think the computer had too much ouzo.) This would be great with a dollop of Greek yogurt or tzatziki.
