You say you are a fair person. I had not belonged to this group until now so I could post a reply. You put my recipes on here and EVERY recipe in this group shoud say posted by ******
in Grouprecipes. How can you copyright other people's recipes? Something is not right here.

FYI - any credible publisher with any preference to avoid lawsuits will explore where the recipes come from. Liability is ugly and without originality or proof of permission to use anyone else's creativity their lawyers are not going to sign off on proceeding. Polly may WANT to do this book but will likely hit road blocks and unless she can afford a vanity publisher whom she will pay to print such a book...

I just saw this notice. DO NOT publish ANY of my recipes in your book. PERIOD. I did not post any of them to this group, however, I did find a few of them here. I have deleted them from the site, and will repost under another name so my friends may still enjoy them.

AGAIN...DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PUBLISH ANYTHING OF MINE. Yes, recipes are meant to be shared. HOWEVER, there is a right and wrong way to go about this, and you are going about it the wrong way. Permission must be sought from each person posting the recipes, and of course, it is a violation of the terms of this website. Some of the recipes in this group are here WITHOUT the permission of the original author. LOTS of recipes from the NEELEY's are here, and another member posts lots of recipes from Taste of Home. They are here for the innocent sharing between eachother, not for you to make a profit from.

NOR MINE! To do so violates the agreement of this website. Totally disrespectful and sleazy and dozens of other nasty names.

Keep your fingers off my recipes also! Can't you come up with your own to publish!?

Justjakesmom has such a pertinent observation -- how dare you even think of publishing anyone else's recipe. Where is your own creativity, style, family recipes, etc? Gee, the more I think aobut what an offense this is the more I'd love to sic the publishing police on you. Plagerizer.

How charming pat. Well, I just joined to chime in with my two pence worth and say this ebook should not be happening and probably won't (the recent 'housekeeping' and the banning of offensive pests like nadia86 prove that the powers that be are actually around and seem to be attending to things). This site is very clear on its terms & conditions and is only for non-profit sharing of recipes and online friendships. None of my recipes are in this group, fortunately (I checked them all) but if there were I would not want them to be used in this way.

Pat I read her repsonse to you on facebook. In it she says she's up to 900 recipes for her ebook...did you notice that in the status just above (or below) she says she is at the LIBRARY working on her book???? LOLOLOL

I'm sure she's just there for the quiet atmosphere...

Oh, Pat - even greater potential for cookbook authors to check out if she's palgerizing their books. What fascinates me is the professionals spend lots of time testing their recipes to get them just right. That's time, ingredients, electric / gas... costs. They compile them in books so we can enjoy the results and they get paid. Reasonable expectation. If the great non-author is sitting at the library plagerizing that just seems to intensify the sleaziness. Ewwww.
