I almost didn't put in all of the liquid smoke thinking it was a typo, but it was just fine! I was really surprised. Dinner tonight - and tomorrow - and the next night.... :) A good burger!

Love burgers like this. This is my standard, "go to" burger, only I usually had half a package of onion soup mix and have started mixing in parmesan, too. I only use a few drops of liquid smoke because we find it salty if I use more. Greak pic!! Now I want a burger...lol

I had one of these today and the smoke taste was much more intense. It was almost overpowering! These were definitely better last night. So, Mrtnzangel, I wouldn't adjust the liquid smoke at all.

Yes, it was a big one! I took a bite and the whole thing smooshed apart because of the tomato slice (that's what it is) and I ended up eating the thing with a knife and fork. Believe me, it was my whole dinner! :)

Donman has changed the amount of liquid smoke from 1 Tbs. to 1 tsp. That's quite a difference! I'm not certain if it was a typo or not. The burgers were actually quite good the first evening - just the next day the smoke seemed overpowering.
