Dumplings For Stew

Wow another great recipe by gaspesiangal (Bren). Fast and easy to pull together and oh so good. I used this on top of leftover Chicken Soup that I had made on Sunday.

I've never made homemade dumplings and those look easy and good. Wonder why you should try to get the dumplings on a potato and not in the cooking liquid. Angel??

Bakerme, the dumplings need to sit up out of the broth so they get fluffy. They will get soggy if they sit in the broth. That's why you need to put them on something - a potato, a piece of chicken or whatever. I make really good dumplings so I know you will make excellent ones! :)

Ml2c we enjoy dumplings too I just do not make them all the time. Thanks about the pick.

Bakerme, Frankie is right. If the dumplings sit in the liquid they will be soggy, I hate soggy dumplings.
