Lcornwell's Kielbasa Pasta

  • mrpiggy 11 years ago
Made this for an early dinner. I needed something quick and easy and this was it. I forgot the Parmesan cheese on the first serving. Was too hungry to even notice until I went back for seconds and saw the container. This was prefect for today. Didnt have the energy for much else after spending 2 days with picks and shovels : (

Thanks Lcornwell for a great recipe

I like nice light pasta dish every once in a while...it's always a good change up from the tomato or cream sauce! Those are good pictures, especially the one with the cheese ;0) Hope you get a break from all that working soon!!

Thanks guys. NP, I also like pasta dishes without sauces. I do like sauce, but I like pasta and sauce can take away from the pastas flavor. Here it stands out good.
LB this is quick and easy. It was perfect timing when the recipe was posted
As for the work, Im just a glutton for punishment. Im trying to dig out standing room storage under the house. Only about 20% done

That certainly does look quick and easy. I love the picture - all those pretty colors. I like pasta without sauce, too. Looks terrific, MrP.

Picked up a pound of kielbasa while at the store the other day. Will jog back out to get the pepper for my next Sunday's meal. Going to try this on some whole wheat spaghetti, only because I have it.

Really!?: 3 tsp olive oil? Just to not have to measure three times I put in 1 Tbsp olive oil. : ) Used whole wheat spaghetti. Added some S&P. Added half stick unsalted butter at the end for a satin finish. It's good enough to make again. Added pic.
Sauteed the veggies before warming up the kielbasa. Hope that wasn't too bass-akwards to affect the dish. Didn't taste like it. Mother likes it and she always turns her nose up at whole wheat bread.
