Recipe by Gkwillow: Mozza Green Olive Toast Bites
A little crunchy for me. The 350 oven dries out the bread too much. Think I would prefer to use the broiler for the processing to get a toasted outside with still a pliable interior.
Flavor is there, even if I used black olives.

This isn't something that appeals to me personally but I'm glad the broiler was better. It does seem like putting the bread in while the oven preheats would dry it out.

Mother likes olives. I could take 'em or leave 'em. Had a can of blacks setting in the pantry for a long time when this recipe popped up.
She flushed the first batch that was hard as croutons, then wouldn't even try the second batch done under the broiler later that day.
So I got my filling of toast bites. And they were quite filling. Had that for supper and didn't even want for anything else.

I made these so long ago that I don't remember if they were to toasty or not. Good to hear the broiler worked though!
