A good stuffed 'shroom. Went to the large white stuffers. There was just enough filling to fill them without mounding. But they put the squeeze on the stuffing and self mounded just a little when they shrank while baking. Wish I had fresh herbs to use but settled on the dry stuff. They were more than just a "popper" as an appetizer because of their size. But if you take your teeth out you can fit a whole one in there.
Didn't have to use but a pinch of salt in the dish because of the olives. Used those green ones stuffed with pimento. Here's hoping they are what's called Spanish olives, it's what I had. Used the pinch of salt to help mince up the garlic. Forgot to use any pepper. Didn't really miss it anyway.

Well I know I said "soon" about a year ago, but hey, better late than never! I love a good stuffed mushroom and yes these are good! I am really bad about just eyeballing ingredients, especially since I often don't make the servings listed in the recipe. I don't think I used enough olives, wish I would have doubled up the amount I used, but these were devoured by my MIL and I, and really wished we had made more! It's okay though, we made a couple other good appy's from this site that I'll be posting in the next week....Good football grub :) BAD game :(
