    Orange Romaine Salad
A delicious salad and very light for my lunch. I won't fall asleep at my desk. :) I made the dressing the night before so I could throw it all together quickly on my lunch hour. I didn't have celery. I don't buy it because I never use it before it goes bad. I liked it just fine without. :-D
    More on the recipe.

Oooooo.....beautiful picture Frankieanne! Top shelf! :)
Tickled you liked the salad recipe. I am not a celery fan myself so I hear you! :) The oranges you got look beautiful. I've never heard of a Cara Cara orange before.

I had never heard of them either. They are a bit smaller than a navel and a deeper, reddish orange. They taste just like a regular ol' orange though. :)

When you bring your celery home, wash it and wrap tightly in foil. It will keep for a couple of weeks--nice a crisp.

That's a good tip Lovebreezy thanks! :) When my celery starts to look a little sad I always make a batch of Point's
    Celery Soup
I puree the veggies so I don't realize they're in there. :) The soup is to die for.

Yummy looking! Those oranges are new to my ears too! Homemade dressing is always the best!

I like that tip with the celery breezy. There has been multiple times I went to make points recipe because I new my celery was going bad, but pulled it out and it was a little beyond usage lol!

OH! I forgot about this recipe! Moved back up on the list of things to try now. lol This looks so good! Count me in on wishing I could buy 2 stalks of celery at a time, cause the rest always goes bad! I only like cooked celery, and I just never ever need the whole thing! Thanks for the aluminum foil tip, LB, I am gonna try that one.
