It looks great Frankie:) Super pic! I printed the recipe out this morning and sent my HB out to buy some potato chips. LOL You should have seen the look on his face! He is the chip monger in this house and lately he has been trying to shed a few pounds so there hasn't been any around. He asked how many bags I needed and no doubt in my mind he will hoard a few:) I just know he is going to love this!

So glad to hear you enjoyed it Frankieanne! Your picture is waaaaayyyyy better than mine. So pleased you added it to the recipe page. I didn't have enough light and I was in a hurry. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) :)
    Thanks Marie.
LOL @ sending Den out to buy some chips Joce. I asked Jim to buy a bag last weekend so I could make these. We don't keep chips in the house because I will eat each and every one of them in the blink of an eye. So Jim brings home no name chips!!!!!!!!! I said "You didn't buy Lay's or Ruffle's?????" and he laughs and said he figured he'd get grief over that one. When I buy chips so infrequently, I want the good stuff. End of story. :)

Thanks, ladies. It was very good and crunchy! I used kettle style chips. I love them. I can't keep chips in the house either. :)
I have lots of chips now! I'm gonna see what the recipe search using ingredients turns up. Stay tuned! :-D

Using the recipe search for potato chips totally intrigued me so I quickly did it too Frankieanne. Saw potato chip cookies which I don't think I need to make but I did bookmark a recipe for Potato chip crab cakes. That looked pretty cool.

Well I just knew this would be a winner! I used butter instead of margarine and also used two slices of ham and a very old aged cheddar cheese. I tried to cut down a bit of the mess down by buttering the outside of the sandwich after it was assembled before putting it in the egg, then buttered the top side of that before flipping it each time. Then into the chips and I didn't find it messy at all! My Hubby said it was great and very filling and LOL he did not want any extra chips with it:) Added my pic as well.
Thanks Janet for this unique post:)

This worked out great! The crushed chips really stick well to the bread and boy is this nice and crunchy! I used just plain Lay's potato chips. Very good Chuckie!!

Oh. Em. Gee. I remember sicking potato chips inside my sandwiches when I was a kid...this brings it to a whole new level!!! I'm the chip monger in this house, too, Janet. LOL @ Jim buying off brand! Never. lol And lol @ sending Den out, Joce. I am gonna have to sneak this one in on Bryan and make it one day when he's not watching, to cut down on the commentary from the peanut gallery during the process. lol BTW...looks delicious!

Saw the new potato chip review and thought I'd share the link here: Potato Chip Crab Cakes
Also wanted to tell you that when I was at the Ben & Jerry's factory in VT about 2 weeks ago I found they have a flavor Late Night that has potato chips in it. :-)

I bought some (at the grocery store that was almost half the price than at the B&J factory) but haven't had the opportunity to try it yet. That's saying a lot 'cause I love ice cream.
