Shrimp In Butter And Bear Sauce
I don't know how I found this one but I was not searching for "bear." Too funny on the title mess up so I didn't change it for the thread. :-)
These were so very good. I loved them and I will make them again. The sauce is delicious. Didn't brown the garlic and herbs that much (personal preference). I put the shrimp in after about a minute.
Served these up with some rice and some tomatoes from my friend's garden. And the rest of the beer.

Haha, when I saw bear I thought it was short for Béarnaise sauce!

Not to sound like a baby, but....I really dislike beer. Does the flavour hold through once cooked FA? That being said, Jim would love these no matter what. :) Great picture.

I love fish of any kind, and those shrimp look fantastic! Unfortunately, my hubby is allergic to fish of any kind, so you know how often it gets made around here. Never, so I have to wait to get my fish fix when we go out out.

    Thank you, everyone!
Janet, I used a light beer so you really couldn't taste the beer taste that much at all. If I had used something stronger, I probably could have. You could always add a bit more butter, too.

I was going to ask about the heat level on all that cayenne and red pepper flakes but I see you left it out, as I would.

Yes, pso, the red pepper flakes were definitely enough for me. I was glad I just did the usual eyeball of salt and pepper. I usually don't measure those ingredients unless it is baking (in which there probably would be no black pepper). I remember measuring black pepper into something one time (correctly) and it burned and made my eyes water!! It was way too much for my taste and it can be as bad heat-wise as any chili type peppers. For me, anyway.
Not certain what has been happening around my area lately but shrimp is way cheaper than beef right now.
