Recipe by Shandy: Soft And Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies/saved
    It's everything as advertised.
Manual mixing is the way to go from adding the flour and beyond.
Batch made 2 dozen plus an extra pound+ for another recipe I have in mind.
Used homemade Butter and Brown Sugar
Ten minutes on the bake time. I wouldn't want to go much past that point and keep the bottoms a good color.

Those do look good, pso! And it does make a lot of cookies.
And a previous poster is right - that is a Betty Crocker recipe.
I love the picture of that plate of cookies!

Made these again for a draw to my booth at the Farmers Market. Could almost consider it a loss-leader.
The recipe makes 52 cookies. That's 4 dozen plus a few. At a quarter a cookie I'll make a nickle a cookie and sixty cents a dozen.
These are soft and delicious. I'm sure to sell more after the first bite.

I didn't know you did that. How long have you had your own booth and what do you usually sale? This is fun to know.

Goods from my garden and canned goods too.
Didn't sell a stitch today. Crowd just wasn't there. Offered beets and summer squash today.
As I was packing up to leave, someone bought a dozen cookies. Well that's a net 0.60 cents on the sale but a loss on the day considering booth rental.

I wish we had somewhere I could sell stuff from my garden!! Right now I'm giving away squash and eggplant like crazy because we can't eat it fast enough. I just found out a good way to freeze eggplant so I'll just do that for now on, I don't like the texture of squash after it's been frozen. I would buy some beets from you :)

I like to roast beets as well. Seems to me they get more flavorful.
