Sosousme's Balsamic Marinated Chicken

  • mrpiggy 11 years ago
I made this several weeks ago and have been meaning to psot to IMI. Things have just been pretty busy. Balsamic Marinated Chicken

This was so quick and east. I always have these ingredients on hand. I did end up marinading overnight. WHen I started it, I didnt realize it had to sit for a couple of hours, and half way through the direction I noticed and it was already after 9 so in the fridge it went. Grilled it on high for a total of about 15 min. My breast wernt 5 oz tho. I had 6 and they were just over 5lbs for the lot of them. So I tripled the ingredients . This will become a regular. Great flavor. Thx Sosousme for a great recipe

Nice grill marks! I have a big bottle of white balsamic vinegar I need to use up, I wonder if it would be good in this? Anyway thanks for sharing Mr P and good to see you...it's been a while!

I always have these ingredients around as well, MrP. I had noticed this recipe but had forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder.
I don't think I've ever seen white balsamic vinegar, ml2c! I'm curious. I'll have to look for it.

White balsamic is very good! It's a little lighter and fruitier in flavor than regular balsamic. Hope you get to try it!

I have been getting home pretty late during the week for the last month or so and then gone during the weekends, so I havent had much cooking time. I have a couple meals lined up for the next few days while my daughter is in town.......At least thats the plan
I tried to find that white balsamic along with white Worcestershire when I made Sparrows Picture Perfect Grilled Chicken. No luck on either. White balsamic would yield a lighter result. It went on the grill dark. But it came out very juicy with tons of flavor with the long marinade time

Oh yeah! I had this bookmarked and had totally forgotten it. Thanks for posting Mr P! I will have to bump this up to the top of the ever-growing "to try" list! I haven't seen white balsamic vinegar...I will have to look for that one. We use a lot of balsamic.
