    Sweet And Sour Spare Ribs
These were so good. I can't even tell you how good this sauce is. It got so nice and sticky. It was perfect. I cut the sauce recipe in half but got sidetracked and didn't cut the soy sauce in half. Didn't seem to make much difference to me. Man, these were good. Served them with rice. They smelled good, too. My little doggie's tail was wagging so hard I thought it would fall off! :-D

I had country style ribs (I think they are called). One of them had a bone but the others did not. I had three but I cut them into pieces

I hope that little puppy dude got a reward for all that tail wagging. Its pretty next to impossible to resist a tail wagging pudgy puppy. Just the look of that plate full of goodies is enough to wag my dogs tail from here. And its making me hungry.

So tickled that you enjoyed them Frankieanne! As I mentioned, my Mom made these all my life growing up so it always makes me think of 'home'. I love your picture. Thank you!

They were so good, Chuckieb. I just had a bite of a cold one and it was delicious that way as well. This is a great sweet and sour sauce - the best I ever had.
MrP, these got the happy Samster seal of approval. I don't like to give him much pork but that tail just made me give him a couple of bites.

Nice flavor. A little high twang at the end.
Paired it up with some Zucchini Alfredo
A lot of juice came out of the ribs, more than I was expecting. Used country pork ribs BTW. As a result the sauce never thickened up, so I put it up to simmer on the stovetop to reduce. Ribs were a little dry, again it probably was due to not being spare-ribs plus all that liquid in the roasting pan. Probably should have dumped that extra liquid before putting on the sauce to finish the bake.
Lined the roasting pan with foil for easier clean up.
