My first use of my new dutch oven. These had SO much flavor! That sauce is so good! I was putting on everything, even my broccoli, I just couldn't get enough of it! Next time I make it I'm serving it with rice for sure. Thanks GK!

Make a shoe taste good. Too funny. That looks so simple, too. Sometimes simple is the best. Looks wonderful, ml2c.

This would probably work with drumetts or wings with some minor adjustment in time. Cheaper than drumsticks you know.

Thanks Frankie, it was super easy!

I didn't even think of that Points! I got my drumsticks for pretty cheap though...I think it was about 12 for 3.99. I saved the 4 biggest to make chicken stock.

This sounds really good. It must be if it would make a shoe taste good. Great phrase, ML2C. I like it I'll have to remember that one. Would that be like sipping champagne out of a high heel?

We don't like drumsticks that well, but I bet chicken thighs would be delicious as well.
I love a sauce that is good on rice. Those are the puddles that you don't mind, the ones with flavor. Simple and good, can't be beat now, right?

    Almost qualifies for comfort food.
Used wing drumetts. Served with boiled then fried potato cubes.
Nothing wrong with the onion gravy.
Used a dozen drumetts and simmered for the full 45 minutes.
Had to add cornstarch at the end to thicken up the gravy.
Didn't need any extra salt or pepper.
Oh, used a home mixed Cajun salt seasoning on the drumetts instead of straight up salt in the beginning.
    Added pic.

Glad you enjoyed it Points. I thought about thickening my sauce with cornstarch but then realized everyone was staring at me from the dinner table wondering where in the heck the food was so I just served it as is. No one complained!

You should have taken the time to thicken the gravy. One Tablespoon in a slurry only takes a few seconds in the boiling gravy.
