Saturday mornings used to be so different way back when.........The cartoons were not so violent. I used to dream of having a neighborhood clubhouse like the little rascals and put on shows for everyone. Fun..

I used to get up about 6 AM, while my parents were sleeping, and turn on the TV. Sometimes I got to watch the test pattern for a while before a show came on. I can remember watching Popeye and the Little Rascals and the Three Stooges and the old cartoons. They weren't all tied to something in the toy store either!

Popeye was a blast and those Little Rascals were so funny . In one episode the dog had one eye black and at the end the other eye was black!

My mom thought that Popeye and the 3 Stooges were too violent.....so we couldn't watch it until we were a little older. Those were the days.......no worries.....no BILLS!
So glad we have the collection of Little Rascals on video. Does anyone remember when Stymie went over to Waldo's house when they were eating breakfast? Stymie got them good! He said the eggs & ham talked to him. He ended up getting a breakfast out of it! Way to go Stymie!!
