Perfect For Anything Marinade
From knoxcop 14 years agoIngredients
- 1/3 cup Italian dressing shopping list
- 1/3 cup soy sauce (I use low sodium) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1/3 cup cocktail sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire shopping list
- 1 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl and pour over meat.
- Best way to marinate something effectively is to place into a ziplock-style bag and press the air out before sealing. Place into refrigeration while marinating!
- NOTES: When grilling or cooking the meat, you probably won't need additional seasonings, other than perhaps a bit of pepper or an herb or two of your choosing. Adding additional salts will make your meat too salty, as the soy sauce is quite salty in itself!
- Also--don't marinade your seafood longer than 2-3 hours in this mixture. The acid content will toughen your seafood and ruin it before cooking, causing it to be tough! Anything else can go up to 24 hours in this if refrigerated properly.
