My Delicato Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

A very delicate taste to this recipe. Sometimes I think that a look in the pantry starts the creative juices flowing. This was thoroughly enjoyed tonight by my family. If you have any suggestions to adjust let me know.

Ingredients
  • This will serve 2 to 4 people depending on the amt. of spaghetti used.
  • 12-16 oz. thin spahetti
  • 1 can black pitted olives drained and rinsed
  • 1 can artichoke hearts drained
  • 1 can your favorite beans
  • wondra
  • 1/4 c. lucino olive oil
  • i stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/4 c. wine
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 vidalia or texas sweet onions chopped in chunky pieces
  • No extra salt is needed
  • 1 bunch tied assorted herbs (I used fresh sprigs of lemon balm, italian oregano, chives,mint)
  • 4 tbsp whipped cream cheese
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • grated cheese
  • Crusty bread

Directions
  1. THE SAUCE AND SAUCE CAN BE MADE AT THE SAME TIME
  2. If you line up your ingredients will take under 30 minutes from can opener to table
  3. Set water to boiling for pasta
  4. When at a rolling boil add pasta
  5. Heat deep saucepan
  6. Add oil and butter and lower heat
  7. Add herbs to the side for easy removal
  8. Add garlic, artichokes, onions, olives and make a small roue by adding wondra and stirring in with broth and wine
  9. Remove herbs
  10. In last 5 minutes add cream cheese and sugar
  11. Drain spaghetti and plate
