Okay, so I bought these Jiffy white cake mixes in the little boxes cuz they were on clearance for 59 cents. Didn't know what I was going to do with them. I don't even eat white cake! But lo and behold on the back was a recipe for these great sounding bars. Read more So here they are, I doubled it and used 2 boxes, so that is how it is written. See less

- 5 Tbls evaporated milk
- 8 oz. bag toffee chips
- 8 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (I used walnuts cuz that's what I had, recipe called for pecans)
- THAT'S IT! Now you know why I was excited! LOL

Ingredients

2 boxes Jiffy white cake mix (don't know if it would work with any other) shopping list
1 block of butter, softened shopping list
5 Tbls evaporated milk shopping list
8 oz. bag toffee chips shopping list
8 oz. chocolate chips shopping list
1 cup chopped nuts (I used walnuts cuz that's what I had, recipe called for pecans) shopping list
THAT'S IT! Now you know why I was excited! LOL shopping list

How to make it

Soften butter in micro if necessary
Add cake mix, nuts, chips, and evaporated milk
Stir together good
Press into 9x11 baking pan
Bake at 350* for approximately 30 minutes till slightly browned
(if doing just one box and half ingredients, use 8x8 and cook 20 minutes)
Cool and cut and enjoy!

Oh My! Just made these again but using a Duncan Hines Butter Pecan cake mix and just chocolate chips (double) and nuts. I also used half 'n' half instead of the evap milk. I must say they are to die for! Came out fantastic and rich to say the least! I don't think you can screw these up if you tried!
