Amaretto Liqueur Recipe

This is from topsecretrecipes.com for DiSaronno Amaretto (but MUCH less expensive!!). No one can tell the difference. Yummy!! (Pour into pretty, glass bottles, seal well and give as a gift!)

Ingredients
- 1/2 C Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 C Dark Brown Sugar (packed)
- 3/4 C VERY HOT water
- 1/2 C Corn Syrup
- 1 1/2 C 80-proof Vodka
- 1 T Almond Extract
- 1 t Vanilla
Directions
- Combine the hot water with the sugars in a medium glass pitcher or bowl.
- Stir until the sugars are dissolved.
- Add corn syrup and stir well.
- Add vodka and flavorings.
- Stir until well blended.
- Store in a sealed container.
- Makes about 3 C and will keep for months.
- Use like you do any Amaretto...straight, on the rocks, add it to coffee, cocoa, cherry pepsi...use your imagination!!! ;)
