Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat grill to medium-high. Prepare asparagus; trim off the woody ends and discard. An easy way to determine where to trim, grab each end of a piece and bend the asparagus until it snaps easily. Trim off the ends of the spears where the piece snapped.
  • Place asparagus in a gallon-size Ziploc bag and pour oil, salt, and pepper into bag. Zip bag and shake gently to lightly coat asparagus.
  • Using tongs, place spears onto grill and cook about 3 minutes. Turn over when spears begin to caramelize. Grill another 3 minutes, or until spears are lightly caramelized and crisp-tender. Serve.
  • Fun fact: Did you know it is proper ettiquette to eat asparagus with your fingers?
