Thick Oven Baked BBQ Pork Chops

- 4 1½ inch thick pork chops shopping list
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce shopping list
- 1 cup of water shopping list
- Unseasoned meat tenderizer shopping list
- creole seasoning shopping list
- paprika shopping list
- olive oil cooking spray shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the BBQ sauce and water, mix well and set aside
- Wash and dry the pork chops and place on a plate
- Sprinkle the meat tenderizer, creole seasoning and the paprika on both sides of the pork chops
- Let the pork chops rest at room temperature for 30 minutes
- After 30 minutes, spray each side of the pork chops with the Olive oil cooking spray
- Using a gas grill on high heat, shear the pork chops for 2 minutes on each side (close the grill cover while shearing)
- Preheat oven to 350 deg.
- Place the pork chops in a Pyrex dish that has a cover
- Pour the BBQ sauce/water mixture all over the pork chops
- Place into the oven for 30 minutes
- Turn the pork chops once after 15 minutes
- Remove from oven and let the pork chops let rest, covered, for 10 minutes
- Use the BBQ sauce/water mixture as gravy and enjoy :)
