How to make it

  • Cake:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray or butter cake pans (8 or 9-inch).
  • Combine cake mix, 1 1/4 cups water, oil, and egg whites in large mixing bowl. Blend to low speed until moist.
  • Beat for 2 minutes at high speed and gently fold in coarsley crushed cookies.
  • Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool.
  • Icing:
  • Beat all ingredients except crushed cookie pieces and pecans. Frost first layer, place second layer on top and frost top and sides. Sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies and pecans on top.
