A thick ranch-like light dressing that doesn't taste light. Adapted from Emily Hockett's recipe posted in the Light and Tasty Magazine Feb/Mar of 2003.

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • ½ cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • ½ cup 1% buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp. Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Pepper

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor; cover and process until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  2. Serving size: 2 Tablespoons
  3. Calories per serving: 64, Fat: 6g, Cholesterol; 8mg, Sodium: 206mg, Carbohydrate: 2g
  4. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 fat
