Different oatmeal cookie

Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 sticks cold butter{cut into bits}
- 2 cups old fashion Oats
- 3/4 cup brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts
- 1/2 cup pumpkin Puree
- 1/4 cup Honey
Directions
- PREHEAT OVEN 375 degrees-grease several cookie sheets ahead of time:
- In large mixing bowl combine Cinnamon, Bakng soda, and Flour
- Now work in butter with pastry cutter till crumbly
- Add Oatmeal,Surgar and Walnuts to bowl stir till wel blended
- Mix pumpkin puree and honey
- Using hands work dough till kneaded.
- Make into quater size balls and place on cookie sheet 2 inchesi apart
- Flatten with fork and Bake 10 minutes till golden brown.

Very good sounding cookies. You know I love oatmeal more then anything and pumpkin is one o fmy favorites too. I never thought of putting them together in a cookie! And the honey used for the sweetner is a nice break from hite sugar...high 5 from me! Thanks momo!!
