Shrimp and Asparagus Delight

- 1 pound bow tie pasta shopping list
- 2 teaspoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 pound asparagus shopping list
- 1 cup Chardonnay shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 cup romano cheese grated shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons crushed fresh garlic shopping list
- 3/4 pound shrimp peeled and deveined shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta and drain. Saute shrimp in 2 tablespoons of butter. Add asparagus and simmer covered for 4 minutes then set aside. Heat remaining butter with olive oil and saute garlic. Add Chardonnay and when it is reduced to half the amount add cream and cornstarch. Whisk over low heat until thickened. In a large bowl blend drained pasta, shrimp and asparagus with the sauce, parsley and cheese. Add salt and pepper and serve immediately.
