How to make it

  • Cook pasta and drain. Saute shrimp in 2 tablespoons of butter. Add asparagus and simmer covered for 4 minutes then set aside. Heat remaining butter with olive oil and saute garlic. Add Chardonnay and when it is reduced to half the amount add cream and cornstarch. Whisk over low heat until thickened. In a large bowl blend drained pasta, shrimp and asparagus with the sauce, parsley and cheese. Add salt and pepper and serve immediately.
