Summer Hobo Dinner Recipe

Ingredients

Italian sausage

one medium potato, cut in pieces

4-8 baby carrots

fresh onion slices to taste

medium tomato, cut into chunks

ear of sweet corn

seasoning salt

pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

I use heavy duty foil, cut into 18" X 18" pieces.

Put ear of corn into center of foil, shiny side in.

Add potatoes, carrots, onion and tomatoes on top and sides.

Season with seasoning and pepper.

Put sausage on top, add 1/4 cup of water and seal foil packet so no moisture will not leak out

Put each packet into the oven and bake for about 1 hour. Turn oven off and allow to set for at least a half hour.

Allow to rest for at least 15 minutes before serving.

I always use frozen meat so cooking time will be less if meat isn't frozen.
