Ingredients

How to make it

  • toss together your potatoes and spinach in your baking dish.
  • Now, melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan and add your onions.
  • Cook over med-low heat til onions are nice and caramelized.
  • Add the garlic and cook for another minute or so. Now add the remaining tablespoon of butter.
  • Once, melted add flour and stir til its a nice golden color.
  • Slowly pour in the milk and cream and stir til thickened.
  • Add the salt and 1 1/2 cups of the muenster cheese.
  • Once the cheese is all melted and all nicely incorporated, pour over the potatoes and spinach.
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Cover your dish and cook 30 minutes.
  • Now uncover and cook an additional 20 minutes
  • Now remove from the oven and top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
  • Put back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes
  • Enjoy!

    Never had Muenster Cheese, but it's an adventure with new flavors.

    Edam Cheese is smelly, but when melted it's delish - just tried it over Christmas.
