Easy Brown Sugar Salmon
From lynn210 14 years agoIngredients
- 2 salmon filets, fresh or frozen (thawed) shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons dark brown sugar shopping list
- dash of cajun seasoning shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Salt, pepper, and dash of cajun seasoning on each side of salmon filets. Then pack the brown sugar on all sides of meat. In a skillet (I use cast iron), heat olive oil on medium heat, then add the salmon filets. Add about 1/2 cup water and cover and turn to med/low heat...as the water/brown sugar mixture thickens, spoon onto to salmon while cooking. Turn salmon once during cooking and cover again.

Simple is the best when it comes to salmon. I use brown sugar and lemon pepper and smoke or use a cedar plank on the grill. Wonderful flavor. Thanks for the great post.
