Great measurements in this! Thanks.

Well drats I JUST bought a container of cajun seasoning 3 days ago. Now what am I going to do with it? LOL Guess I will bookmark this and use that up or maybe can palm it off on my daughters LOL

This sounds perfect for my spicy family.

My husband makes alot of venison jerky and is always looking for new spice mixtures, I will pass this on so he can try it. Thanks

This is a perfect blend to have on hand. I use it a lot! Thank you so much. =)

Simple yet I bet it has a punch of flavor.. I like spicy so this will be added to my spices!

I love this.. I usually add a little more Cayenne pepper.. got my 5

Thank you Thank you Thank you! I love having my own spice mixes, and didn't have an authentic cajun one :) I've got a great Southwest Spice mix if you check my recipes. Very New Mexico style...

It might be able to last for 6 months in an air-tight container, but it certainly won't last 6 months in my house!! Thanks

Here either. I make a double batch about once a week :)

OK .. I came looking up this famous spice mix cuz I keep seeing it in your recipes. :)
Are the ingredients supposed to have Paprika twice? I want to make it and I was curious...

That sounds like a good mix.. i like it Fiery so ill triple the hot pepper :). Im definitely going to try this tomorrow. Thanks Don and congrats on the baby.

No on the Paprika twice. That was a typo. Sorry :(
I'll fix it. Thanks :)

Oh my husband will love this, will make this soon:o)

Aha, the secret is out! ;-)

I'm using this rub on a whole chicken I'm roasting tonight, I thought it'd be the perfect touch, I'll let you know how it turns out!!

Thanks for the tip!! I enjoy making my own mixes! I'll share a nice rub for ribs as soon as I can find it. ;-)

I always make my own spice mixes and love to find new ,good ones. I'll give this a try!! :)

This mix is right up my alley! So many people don't understand that kosher salt is so much better for cooking than table salt. I cringe when I watch others cook sometimes. Thanks for the recipe!

Mmmm... I'll have to try this one!

I don't have any Cajun Seasoning in my house. I'm going to make this to go with your Inside Out Stuffed Peppers recipe, which I imagine will be made more than once in my household. Thank you.

My hubby loves cajun foods. This is a good thing to have around my house!

Definitly will try this, it has the right amounts to work just right with me and my son will like it for sure.....

Simple, perfect. Thanks for the recipe...

Hi Donnie, I have used this spice recipe quite a few times & I love it. I've added it to the new group for recipes that we have tried called 'I made it'

I love cajun flavors! I'll have to try this someday...maybe on grilled shrimp! Thanks Brianna, for posting this in my group!

Donnie, will definitely be mixing this one up- looked for some Cajun seasoning at the store, but haven't found any yet up here in NJ...should've known I could find one right here on GR! Thanks a bunch!
