How to make it

  • Lightly coat a large lidded pan with low fat cooking spray and heat until hot. Add the meat and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned all over. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Spray the pan again add the onion and pepper and stir fry for 5 minutes until beginning to brown.
  • Add the ginger, garlic and spices. Cook for a further minute before adding the yogurt, the tomatos and finally the meat.
  • Stir in 300ml of water, bring to the boil, cover and reduce heat. Leave to simmer for 1 hour until the meat is tender

    That looks lovely. I just recently made a Chicken Rogan Josh recipe by Jamie Oliver but I've been using the 'Patak' curry pastes and they are pretty high in sodium. I'm storing this recipe away. Looks yummy!
