This is NOT a FOOD RECIPE. It is a household cleaner that works great on grease and soap scum. Works on all surfaces, but when using on varnished surfaces, wipe it off immediately after applying. Please be careful with it and label it so that no one... More

Ingredients
- 4 qt. water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. baking soda
- 1 c. household ammonia
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Put in a spray bottle that is marked cleaner on it.
- Recipe may be halved.

Just be careful with using ammonia as a cleaning product as it is toxic to breath. Wiping it off is a great idea since ammonia can seep in through your skin and create health problems.

I have two altered male cats and they will spray if I use ammonia or bleach, but vinegar deters them. In fact, I use vinegar and water only to clean lots of things, in particular tiled floors, mirrors, windows. Vinegar and bicarbonate of soda in water does a good job in de-furring the coffee machine.

Ammonia can be very dangerous and has been shown to trigger breathing disorders especially in children. Your more natural cleaners are a sure safer way to go though. Better than any of those bleach alternatives. I only use Melaleuca products in my home because I know they are safe, they save me money, and time. I just can't live without Melaleuca.
