How to make it

  • Mix sugar, syrup, butter, & half the cream in a saucepan . Cook over low heat, stirring, to soft ball stage (243 degrees) . Stir in remaining cream. Cook to a thick, stirring consistency & remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Serve hot or cold. Makes 2 cups.
