Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • I used a 10 inch sqaure pan but a longer pan ( 8 x 12 ) will make thinner squares and qive more pieces
  • Layer pan with 1 roll crescent rolls.
  • press to make an even layer
  • Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla. until smooth
  • Place this over the crescent rolls
  • Add a can of apple pie ( or any other desired fruit filling )
  • Put another can of crescent rolls on top but don't press or seal
  • Pour melted butter over top; then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon over butter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden
  • Note: this can be served warm as a dessert or cold and easily cut into bars

I agree with Maureen - I have had it with no fruit but this makes it extra special! Thanks so much for the post.

I've had this before, just without the fruit. It's delicious and I'm sure the fruit filling makes it even better. Thanks!
