Reuben-Style Burgers

- 1 pound lean ground beef shopping list
- 3/4 tps. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tps. pepper shopping list
- 4 slices swiss cheese shopping list
- 4 hamburger buns shopping list
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained shopping list
- 1/2 tps. caraway seeds shopping list
- 1/4 cup Thousand Island salad dressing shopping list
- 4 slices deli corn beef shopping list
How to make it
- Heat gas grill on medium heat
- Combine ground beef, salt and pepper in medium bowl; mix lightly. Shape into 4 patties.
- Place patties onto grill. Grill turning once, until internal temp. reaches at least 160F. or until meat is no longer pink in center (10 to 12 minutes). Top each patty with 1 slice cheese during last minute of grilling. Place cut-sides of bun onto grill. Grill until toasted.
- Meanwhile, combine sauerkraut and caraway seeds in a small bowl.
- Spread 2 tps. dressing onto each toasted bun half. Place burgers onto bottom bun half, top with 1 slice corn beef, 1/4 cup sauerkraut mixture and top bun half.

We had these last night. My better half really liked them. He was skeptical at first but then I noticed the lips smackin, so that is a very good sign.
