How to make it

  • Fill large pot half-way with water, bring water to boil and then salt
  • Add rigatoni and peas
  • Start the Alfredo:
  • Heat large skillet to med. and add half of butter
  • Saute shallots and garlic until light brown
  • Add rest of butter. When butter is melted add in the heavy cream
  • Stir constantly with whisk for 10-12 min. on med. heat
  • Remove from heat and gradually add cheese while stirring. Add pepper
  • Drain Rigatoni and Peas then place in large bowl
  • Pour alfredo sauce over pasta
  • Stir so pasta is well coated and let sit 5 min to thicken
  • Serve and enjoy.
