Ingredients

How to make it

  • Vitamix instructions:

  • Put all ingredients in your Vitamix and blend to a rich perfection!
  • Food processor instructions:

  • Same as above. You may have a hard time blending the sesame seeds, so I recommend soaking them for a few hours first, halving the recipe, and stopping frequently to scape the bowl. You can also omit the seeds entirely, but in that case I also recommend omitting the olive oil to keep a thick consistency.

Today I learned that people are eating raw in order to save gas. I just thought they had an irrational aversion to fire. You learn something new every day! Great recipe- bookmarked!

gee, I thought I had posted my comment didn't see it so forgive me if this is a double comment.
I used more cumin, less lemon juice, some raw garlic to my taste and a bit of xantham gum to thicken it up a bit. delicious!!

Creative answer to my quest for substitutes to feed my father-in-law who's on a low vitamin K regimen and misses hummus. I am going to make this for our next family dinner and know he'll really appreciate your post. thanks!

this is a good idea, but it should be called a Zuchchini dip.
    Hummus is essentially chickpeas.
