How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400'.
  • Set large pot of salted water to boil. In food processor,pulse tomatoes until coarsely chopped.
  • In large skillet,heat oil over med-high. Add garlic and cook till fragrant,about 1 min. Add tomatoes and bring to boil. Cook at rapid simmer till sauce thickens,about 12 mins.
  • Meanwhile,cook pasta 5 mins(it will still be crunchy). Drain pasta and return to pot.
  • Add tomato sauce,basil and half of mozzarella and toss to combine.
  • Transfer mixture to a 3 qt. baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake until cheese is golden and edges bubbling,about 25 mins.
