Bratwurst Meatloaf

- 1 lb 93% lean ground beef (or leaner) shopping list
- 1 lb bratwurst, casings removed and broken up shopping list
- 1 cup fresh bread crumbs shopping list
- 2-3 garlic cloves, pressed shopping list
- 2 tbsp. chopped flat-leaf parsley shopping list
- 1 envelope onion soup mix shopping list
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 3 tbsp. prepared yellow mustard shopping list
- 1 tbsp. cider vinegar shopping list
- freshly ground pepper shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 tsp ground celery seed shopping list
- additional prepared yellow mustard shopping list
- additional tomato sauce shopping list
- light brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Press into sprayed loaf pan.
- Spread additional mustard and tomato sauce on top of meatloaf. Sprinkle lightly with brown sugar.
- Bake at 350 for one hour.
- Drain fat off loaf; let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
- *top with bacon, as pictured, if desired.
